What's in season?...
With Halloween around the corner, we've gotta get ready. Gotta run to Costco and stack up on the good stuff (candy), Spirit of Halloween for costume and props...oh yeah, and a new candy line here at Official Pieces.
We already have a candy line (the CandyShop Classic Collection) but we've just updated our inventory. Got some gummy bears, candy coated stones and....swirls? lol. With this new inventory we've already come up with the Princess Packages. Oh yeah...and I'm learning howe to make earrings as we speak to complete these cute sets.
You can't go by the name "Official" and produce crap...this is why every piece that is produced here at Official Pieces is an Official Piece. I run field tests on my products to ensure a reliable lifespan of the jewelry. Through said field tests I discovered the perfect elastic thread count to ensure longevity of life. With a hole size of app. 1.5mm, too many threads will cause stripping which compromises the integrity of the piece. Too little thread count and the piece will pop upon stretching. The magic number for longevity without compromise of integrity is four. A thread count of four allows for a tougher pull with each strand supporting the next. ( a little FYI, most jewelry makers only use two threads...IJS lol).
As I stated at the top, you can't go by the name "Official" and produce crap...just as with everything else in my life, if I'm gonna put my name on it then it's gotta be OFFICIAL

Apex Alpha Mentality line
Apex Alpha Mentality or AAM, is a designer line created by the creator of AAM, therefore I named the line after his company. His exact words, "I want an Akuma bracelet", so I extended my search of material and found these 20mm stones. A whole new world opened up for Official Pieces, many different and new styles came about...including the Akuma Series which is dedfined by its use of 20mm stones AND a custom regal base consisting of two crowns engulfing a special stone to the piece (special either in meaning or in color).
So, in the spirit of being an ethical businessman (and even better sibling) I'd like to give credit where it was due.

Real quick about me and how the name 'Official Pieces' came about. As an artist (poet) I've hit the open mic at multiple locations within NYC, not heavy, but steady. I was even honored to bless the stage of the Nuyorican Poets Cafe in the lower East side a few times. Welp...as that artist and an author of two published books of poetry I fall under the name Official (long story on how the name came about lol). With each of these beautiful bracelets being a "Piece" of art, put my name in front...see where this is going? LOL
But seriously though....
